Reflections in the Rain

I will be going to the zoo in a few hours. Yay zoo! Yay Camera and testing it out real time!

I'm looking forward to it, of course. I now have a nice little 512 card for the camera and it works very nicely. I'll still be shooting at 3megapixel so that I don't run out of space. (And trust me, even with about 300 shots on a card, it's going to be a near thing!)

I had cake for my birthday. I haven't had cake in years on my birthday. That was really very nice. And we watched the new Harry Potter movie. It was nicely done.

In a few yours I'll be at the zoo. I'm going to go take a nice, long bath, relax and get to bed early.

Oh, and we mailed off one novel submission and a short story submission today. No real hope for them, but it's good to get them out.

I'm going to have my hands full with some nonfiction books over the next few months, though. Lots to do there. I've made good progress on one of them, and I'll be getting back to it on Friday.

But right now... off to rest!
